Welcome to The Redheaded Hare

This brand was created in February of 2024 by Brittany Carpenter. Antiques have been an important part of my family for as long as I remember. My grandmother ran her own antique store and I have various memories of my mother traveling to antique auctions and being dragged into antique shops. 

The name "The Redheaded Hare" comes from a picture my mother found at an art festival when I was a child. It is a picture of a young redheaded girl holding a redheaded rabbit, with the wording "Girl with the red hare" on it. As a redhead, this fit perfectly. Funny enough, I ended up having a redheaded rabbit as a childhood pet. I still have this picture hanging in my home.

My shop is a carefully curated collection of European treasures, Victorian curiosities, French country charm, and one-of-a-kind vintage finds. Each piece is chosen for its history, beauty, and character-because ordinary can't tell a story.
